Smart Laboratory System Using IOT

Abstract: In this fast growing world, the usage of electrical appliances and gadgets has increased due to which the electricity consumption has increased. Being caught in this busy life, people tend to forget things like switching off the electronic devices after usage. This would cause a lot of electricity wastage. If a person recollects that some device is not shut off he needs to leave his current work and reach the device to turn it off manually. This would cause a lot of energy and time wastage. This proposes and analyze a system which is used for energy consumption and monitoring. The system is fully Internet of Things (IoT) based and highly desirable in field of energy. In this system consumer can do power management by knowing energy usage time to time. As the advancement of technology and dependencies over the electrical appliances increased, the usage and requirement of electricity is also increased rapidly. Hence there is a need to reduce the wastage of electricity. The smart laboratory system using IoT helps in monitoring the power consumption regularly. This also helps in controlling various appliances used in the laboratory. This smart system will be helpful in generating the real-time data of the electricity usage. Users will be able to see their daily usage from a web app with the help of their unique identification number and password provided to them at the time of installation of this device. The objective is to make a novel system which will help in reducing the usage and wastage of electricity.
