VIOLÊNCIA DOMÉSTICA CONTRA A MULHER NEGRA
Violence is a practice that takes various forms and manifests in different contexts, directly impacting the physical and mental health of the victims. In the domestic context, it involves a range of abuses, whether physical, psychological, sexual, economic, or moral, perpetrated within the family environment. Structural racism legitimizes the perpetuation of these stereotypes, relegating Black women to subordinate roles, with limited social mobility and opportunities (Medeiros; Machado, 2020). This is an integrative literature review. For this study, scientific articles available from the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), Latin American Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), and the Virtual Health Library (BVS) were used. Domestic violence against Black women is a complex and multifaceted issue, deeply rooted in historical and sociocultural factors. To address this issue, it is crucial to implement inclusive public policies and promote education and awareness programs that address the specific needs of Black women. Collaboration between different sectors and communities is essential to create an effective and accessible support network.
