Locating and Sizing of Charging Stations Based on Electric Vehicle Load Forecasting Considering Road Network Coupling

In recent years, electric vehicles(EVs) has developed fast. As EVs have both mobile load and transportation attributes, disordered EV charging will influence the power grid and transportation network at the same time. Therefore, through reasonable prediction of the load of EVs and reasonable planning of charging stations, positive effect will show on the power grid and transportation network. Firstly, the traffic network matrix is established and the origin and destination of EVs are analyzed by OD analysis method. Then, the driving path of the EV is simulated by the Monte Carlo analysis method, the charging demand of the vehicle is determined by the electric quantity of the EV, and the charging requirement of each station is predicted according to the position of the charging station. Finally, taking the loss of the distribution network to the minimum as the optimization objective, the distribution network loss under the power flow constraint is calculated, and the location and capacity of the charging station are determined considering the distribution network loss and the load of EVs charging. Taking the actual transportation network of a city as an example, the validity of the model proposed in this paper is verified.
