Decoupled Partitioning of Active and Reactive Power for Voltage Control in Distribution System Based on Generalized Distance

The large-scale integration of distributed photovoltaics (PV) is prone to reverse power flow in distribution systems, resulting in voltage exceeding limits at distribution buses, which restricts the consumption of distributed PV. To address this, this paper proposes a method of decoupled partitioning of reactive and active power for voltage control in distribution systems based on generalized distance. Firstly, consider both active/reactive power-voltage sensitivity and impedance distance to partition the distribution system into active power partitions and reactive power partitions, respectively. Then, following the strategy of prioritizing reactive power adjustment before active power, control voltage within partitions, thus resolving voltage exceeding limits. Finally, simulations based on IEEE 33 bus system verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
