A Hybrid AC/DC Grid Optimal Dispatch Method Considering Total Transfer Capability Constraints
This paper proposes a hybrid AC/DC grid dispatch method considering total transfer capability (TTC) constraints of transmission sections. A TTC calculation method combining optimal power flow (OPF) and repetitive power flow (RPF), OPF-RPF, is used to generate operational sample data. The samples are trained by the LightGBM (Light Gradient Boosting Machine) model. By solving the grid day-ahead optimization dispatch problem and conducting TTC verification iteratively, the dispatch plan that meets TTC constraints is finally obtained. Effectiveness of the method is validated on a hybrid AC/DC grid consisting of a 10-bus AC grid and a 4-bus flexible DC grid. Results show that the proposed method can ensure the secure and stable operation of the power system.
