Dynamics and Open-Loop Control of Streams Wings
This paper focuses on the mathematical formulation and analysis of a novel and rarely studied marine energy technology, the STREAMS - Slaloming Tethered RiverinE And Marine Surface - Wing. For this purpose, the dynamics of the principal hardware components are combined to explore the effects of design parameters on the system's overall performance. Baseline simulation results consisting of the time evaluation of key parameters are presented to offer valuable insights into the system's dynamics and its performance in open-loop control scenarios.
