An Examination of Domestic Challenges in Supply Chain Due Diligence: Employing Text Network Analysis
In this study, a network text analysis was conducted on 1,244 domestic articles related to supply chain due diligence to identify key domestic issues. The main issues concerning supply chain due diligence in South Korea primarily revolved around how small and medium-sized enterprises, which make up the majority of suppliers, can strategically respond and coexist with large corporations. Additionally, it was found that supply chain due diligence plays an important role as one of the pillars of ESG management. In particular, there was active discussion regarding the participation and cooperation of stakeholders in the governance of supply chain due diligence. To respond to supply chain due diligence, most major industries were establishing response systems centered around initiatives and presenting codes of conduct. Based on the results of the text network analysis, implications and future research topics were proposed.
