Analysis of trends in domestic research related to obesity and physical activity of infants and children through analysis of keyword networks
The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of physical activity research based on the shape development of infants and children from the perspective of big data through a text mining analysis method, to identify the relationship between the knowledge generated by the research papers, and to acquire new knowledge related to shape development and physical activity. To this end, studies related to "obesity" and "physical activity" related to infants, children and children submitted to the Korean Journal of the Society of Science from 1999 to 2023 were selected for academic journals registered in the Korea Research Foundation (KCI), and the analysis was conducted using the NetMiner program. In about 24 years from 1999 to 2023, 155 of the 250 studies submitted to the Korean Journal were deleted and 95 were selected.<br/> In this study, 'lifestyle' was found to be the most important keyword, followed by 'obesity', 'physical strength', 'exercise ability', 'metabolic syndrome', and 'program'. The results of Betweenness Centrality were identified in the order of physical strength, athletic ability, obesity, lifestyle, society, programs, parents, and growth, indicating that the keywords serve as intermediaries of higher concepts on the network. The results of the network cohesion analysis (Community) were classified into keywords related to parents and growth in the G1 group, and the G2 group was identified as keywords related to new sports, school, and physical education programs based on physical strength. In the case of G3, it was composed of keywords related to research activities related to obesity and economics, and in the case of G4, it was classified into keywords related to obesity, metabolic syndrome, and health, and in the case of G5, it was classified into keywords related to parenting behavior related to lifestyle. Infancy is a time when parents are greatly affected, and the role and parenting behavior of parents are very important, so related studies are being conducted, and a number of researchers are paying attention to improving the basic physical strength of infants and children to solve the obesity problem. In addition, it can be inferred that parental attention is essential in the formation of basic lifestyle habits, and obesity increases the risk of metabolic syndrome throughout the growth period, leading to social as well as personal health.
