The article deals with the challenges in the social rehabilitation of older preschool children with psychophysical disorders, focusing on physical culture as a therapeutic medium. It presents a rationale for integrating physical culture activities to teach elements of movement and individual actions, enabling children to perform these actions with variable automaticity and fostering conscious activity skills as part of comprehensive social rehabilitation. The role of preschool educational institutions in providing social rehabilitation for children with psychophysical disorders was discussed in the paper. The author identified the components essential to social rehabilitation for these children and highlights how physical education addresses critical corrective and developmental tasks, particularly in speech development. These improvements substantially enhance the child’s social development by supporting communication skills and fostering positive personality traits. The findings underscore that physical culture plays a crucial role in helping children with psychophysical disorders adapt to society, gain social experiences, and develop socially valuable qualities.
