Transformações Geométricas no plano: uma abordagem híbrida das metodologias Rotação por Estações e Gamificação para o Ensino Fundamental
This research presents an innovative didactic approach, combining the opportunities provided by the Gamification methodology with Hybrid Teaching, more specifically in the category of Rotation by Station. The central objective is to promote a more effective understanding of the concept of geometric transformation, and, by doing that, improve the teaching of this content in the final years of Elementary School. The relevance of incorporating playful activities into the learning process is highlighted, which, far from compromising traditional methods, adds significant value to the teaching process. The research aims to streamline the educational process, stimulating student autonomy and encouraging them to take responsibility for their own learning. To achieve these objectives, a didactic sequence was developed and implemented in a 7th year Elementary School class at Centro Educacional Araújo, located in São Pedro da Aldeia/RJ. Adopting a qualitative approach of the pedagogical intervention type, data collection involved the observations of researchers, the analysis of recording activities and the application of a self-assessment questionnaire. Upon concluding the research, it was found that the methodologies employed not only promoted the desired engagement, but also resulted in significant effects on the learning process. Thus, we believe that the proposed set of activities can contribute positively to the teaching practice of other professionals and teachers interested in its application, whether fully or partially.
