Evaluating Seismic Vulnerability and Enhancing Resilience of Road Infrastructure: A Comprehensive Bibliometric Analysis

It is essential to conduct seismic research on road infrastructure in order to comprehend and mitigate the effects of earthquakes on transportation systems. A comprehensive bibliometric analysis is implemented in this investigation to assess the breadth and depth of scientific literature on this subject. The analysis identifies key themes, influential researchers, and collaborative networks that drive advancements in the field by systematically examining publications from 2006 to 2024. The results underscore the importance of research areas such as the development of mitigation strategies, resilience of road networks, and seismic vulnerability assessments. The temporal progression and interconnections between research topics are revealed through visualizations, such as network maps and thematic evolution diagrams. This analysis emphasizes the significance of prioritizing infrastructure resilience in order to improve disaster preparedness and response. Ultimately, the study insights will contribute to the development of a resilient and robust road infrastructure that is capable of withstanding seismic events, establishing a rich, data-driven foundation for future research and policy-making.
