Information and communication technology development has increased significantly, including the application of robotics, which is increasingly developing in society and is likely to reduce or reduce the role of existing human resources. This problem is the background to the birth of the era of Society 5.0 or the Industrial Revolution 5.0. The country that first introduced Society 5.0 was Japan. This concept is similar to the era of Industry 4.0, but only in the era of Society 5.0 is the role of human resources more empowered. A nation needs to prepare itself to face the era of society 5.0. Mastery of technology and increasing the ability of Human Resources (HR) must be improved both in terms of ability. This study's formulation of the problem is regarding Competency Improvement in the Era of Society 5.0. Concepts and Attitudes in Improvement in the Era of Society 5.0. The research method used is a qualitative description with a literature study.
