Experimental Investigation and Results on the Wear of Photovoltaic Panels
PV panels are the most critical components of PV systems as they convert solar energy into electric energy. Therefore, analyzing their reliability, risk, safety, and degradation is crucial to ensuring continuous electricity generation based on its intended capacity. This paper presents experimental research and results on the wear of photovoltaic panels. The focus of this study is to detect, monitor, and classify the wear of an off-grid photovoltaic system. The experimental study was performed based on two architectures: the first was built manually from 25 cells, and the second was built from two identical panels.
