Flexible Interconnection Control Strategy of Low Voltage Distribution Network Based on Unified Power Quality Conditioner
With the advancement of society and economy, the electricity load on the user side has seen a significant increase. Some Low-Voltage (LV) distribution areas are grappling with severe load inequality issues, while traditional Flexible Interconnected Devices (FID) like Soft Open Points (SOP) face challenges in the LV distribution field due to their high cost and limited functionality. To address this situation, this paper proposes a flexible interconnection control strategy for LV distribution areas based on the topology of the Unified Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC). The objective is to enable power interconnection between stations. The control strategy utilizes Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) output control signals to reduce the required converter capacity for regulating power flow. Finally, the effectiveness and accuracy of this control strategy under various scenarios, such as load casting, switching, and expectation changes, are verified through simulations.
