Assessment of Employee Risks in Construction of Megahousing Projects Using Structural Equation Modeling

One of the most crucial objectives for nations with dense populations worldwide is the construction of mega projects. Egypt's 2030 strategy emphasizes how crucial it is to build MHP in order to accommodate the country's enormous population growth. However, there has been a nighty eight percent delay in the completion of house construction projects due to employees' inadequate training, technology use, and uncertainty management. Enhancing the administrative, technical, and management skills of staff members can prevent delays in Egypt's delivery of sustainable MHP. The aim of this study is to develop an employee management model (ESEM) in order to assess the factors that have the greatest influence on construction of mega housing projects. Stakeholders involved in the construction of mega housing projects were surveyed. Structural equation method was adopted to test both the measurement model and structural model. Data analysis, inadequate credentials, information management, and incompetent skills in overseeing large -scale, integrated resource management are among the employee risk weights that have the most effects on MHP construction delivery. The results also showed how important it is to support employee management programs. Risks that require significant improvement include the requirement for a skilled personnel, technology integration, better decision-making, and efficient governance.
