Fuzzy Logic Based Mechanism for Stepwise Carbon Trading in Park-Level Integrated Energy Systems

Currently, carbon trading has become increasingly important for integrated energy systems (IES) and stepwise carbon trading mechanisms have received attention. It is considered important to determine a reasonable carbon trading parameter based on the actual situation of the park, to fully play the role of the mechanism and maximize the achievement of low-carbon emission reduction goals. To this end, this work attempts to exploit the fuzzy logic-based mechanism for stepwise carbon trading in park-level integrated energy systems. A fuzzy logic-based solution is designed to identify the appropriate set of parameters for the stepwise carbon trading model by fully considering the different configurations of the integrated energy systems. The developed method is assessed through simulations considering a park-level scenario. The simulation results confirmed the benefits and effectiveness of the proposed fuzzy logic based solution.
