A Multi-Stage Rural Electrification Planning Method Considering Network Connectivity
Rural electrification planning plays a crucial role in advancing the grid connection transformation projects in rural areas. However, in the multi-stage expansion process of existing rural electrification planning, there is limited research on network connectivity. This lack of research leads to convergence issues with the phase angles of isolated nodes separated from the balance node. This paper proposes an artificial load demand method to construct anti-islanding constraints suitable for electrification planning. This approach ensures the connectivity of extension lines with the existing network. Based on optimizing the capacity allocation of wind and solar energy storage in off-grid microgrids, the optimal electrification scheme for unelectrified nodes is determined. The effectiveness of this method is validated through simulation case studies.
