Load Tracking Method Incorporating Static Voltage Characteristics in Virtual Power Plant
The broadscale grid integration of renewable energy posts threat on the adequacy of regulation capability of power systems. Virtual Power Plant (VPP) is thus receiving increasing attention due to its ability to provide trustworthy adjustment capability. When conducting load tracking tasks, the Static Voltage Characteristics (SVCs) are usually ignored, which could lead to abnormal operation of distributed energy resources sensitive to voltage variations. In this paper, A load tracking method considering SVC is proposed, where the SVC of PV inverter, energy storage device and Inverter Air Conditioner (IAC) are considered by equality constraints in load tracking models. This method is able to ensure the conduction of load tracking in VPP without affecting the normal operation of loads. An experiment is setup based on an improved IEEE 13-bus power system to analyze the effects of whether to consider SVC and regulation capability of IAC on load tracking performances.
