Automation of Evaluation of Interlaboratory Comparison Results for Calibration Laboratories
Interlaboratory comparisons (ILCs) for calibration laboratories are essential to confirm and maintain reproducibility of measurements. After conducting such ILCs, conclusions are made about the degree of agreement between laboratories. Automation of the evaluation of ILC results can be very useful for efficient and rapid analysis of the obtained data. Using the example of ILCs for electronic stopwatch and signal generator, the capabilities of the developed special software for automating calculations and analysis of data consistency, graphical display of results are demonstrated. The obtained results of calculation of deviation and measurement uncertainties for each of the laboratories participating in the ILC, the indices of consistency of the data of the laboratories are displayed both in tabular and traditional graphic form. All this greatly simplifies the general analysis of the ILC results and preparation of final reports based on their results.
