Validation of the Integration and Functional Model of a Point of Care Platform
The article presents the operation of the digital PoC hardware platform. It is controlled by means of the software program, developed for the microcontroller with the main function ADUC7025, whose flowchart is described. The software component that controls the operation of the digital PoC performs the following functions: it manages the two-way communication with the computer for the reception of commands and the transmission of data, it performs the configuration of the operation mode of the PoC and the acquisition of the response from the sensor. According to the organizational chart, the execution of the software application begins with the initialization of the ADUC7025 microcontroller, then the initialization of the modules of the microcontroller that will be further used in operation is carried out, namely: the I2C communication module, the UART asynchronous serial communication module and the ADC analog-to-digital converter used for conversion digital representation of the response given by the sensor.
