Fully Decentralized P2P Energy Trading in Electrical Distribution Systems with Hybrid Renewable Energy
Peer-to-peer (P2P) energy trading within an electrical distribution system facilitates the sharing of benefits among various participants and the effective integration of distributed renewable energy. Meanwhile, the involvement of hybrid renewable energy, e.g., photovoltaic (PV) systems and wind turbine generators (WTGs), in P2P energy trading is essential for enhancing energy flexibility and diversity in active distribution networks. To this end, the alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) is employed to achieve a P2P energy trading strategy with the fully decentralized mode in this work, where self-interested participants attain optimal P2P energy trading results iteratively through multilateral negotiation. The simulation case is conducted in IEEE 33-bus with WTG data from Finland and PV data from Portugal to show the effectiveness of the developed algorithm.
