Research on Double Time-Scale Optimal Scheduling Strategy for Distributed Energy Storage
With the global energy transition, the rapid development of renewable energy is reshaping the energy landscape. However, the inherent intermittency and uncertainty of renewable energy sources such as wind and solar pose significant challenges to the stable operation of power systems. This paper establishes an operational model for micro grids with distributed energy storage and introduces a double time-scale optimal scheduling framework that combines day-ahead and intra-day scheduling, optimized using the Football Team Training Algorithm and the CPLEX solver. A typical microgrid in a park in southern China is used as a case study to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheduling strategy. The results show that, compared to single time-scale scheduling, the double time-scale scheduling achieves efficient utilization of distributed energy storage, significantly reduces system operating costs, avoids wind and solar curtailment, and improves the utilization rate of renewable energy.
