Research on Dual Power Supply Fast-Switching Equipment Based on Fast Circuit Breakers
With the development of industrial society, the high-end manufacturing industry has put forward higher requirements for power quality. Voltage dips or power supply interruptions are causing huge problems for business production. For companies with dual power supplies, about half of the load stops working when one power supply fails. In this paper, a set of dual power supply fast-switching equipment is developed for this problem, which can realize the fast isolation of faulty power supply and the fast input of backup power supply, and improve the reliability of load power supply. The dual power supply fast-switching equipment includes fast circuit breakers and a fast-switching control device (FSCD). Among them, the fast circuit breaker adopts the principle of electromagnetic repulsion, for the 10 kV fast circuit breaker can realize opening within 1 ms and closing within 6~8 ms. The FSCD collects electrical signals and switching status signals and performs fast switching according to the control principle. In addition, a multilevel power fast-switching cooperative control method is proposed in this paper, which realizes the information interaction between upper and lower-level FSCD, as well as between FSCD and fast circuit breakers based on Hundred Gigabit Ethernet. This method achieves synchronized startup of upper and lower FSCD and improves the success rate of fast switching. A typical industrial distribution network simulation model is built to verify the advantages of the fast-switching cooperative control method. Finally, the effectiveness of the dual power supply fast-switching equipment is verified through a test.
