Analysis of Single-phase Ground Fault Characteristics of Low-resistance Grounding Distribution Network with Inverter-interfaced Distributed Generation
The single-phase ground fault characteristics of the low-resistance grounding distribution network will change due to the integration of distributed generation (DG), which will have a series of impacts on the applicability of original relay protection principles and configuration of devices in the distribution network. This paper first establishes an equivalent model of single-phase ground fault, and then analyzes the ground fault of low-resistance grounding distribution network containing inverter-interfaced DG (IIDG), and summarizes the impact of IIDG access on the fault electrical quantity. Finally, a 10kV low-resistance grounding distribution network simulation experiment model containing IIDG is constructed using MATLAB/Simulink to verify the accuracy of theoretical analysis of fault characteristics.
