Stratified Economic Dispatching Strategy for Microgrids Considering Demand Response

The boundaries between the source and load sides of the distribution network are becoming increasingly blurred, and the matching of power supply and demand is becoming increasingly difficult. Promoting demand response will be an inevitable requirement for building a new type of power system. This article divides the microgrid scheduling strategy into instruction layer, coordination layer, and execution layer based on the entities and stages involved in demand response process. The instruction layer strategy is oriented towards microgrid operation managers, with the consideration of system operation safety; The coordination layer strategy is oriented towards resource agents, which maximizing economic benefits while responding to the instruction layer; The execution layer strategy assigns response tasks to terminal control objects. The above microgrid operation strategy was validated using a typical community level household microgrid scenario, and the simulation results showed the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
