Design a Synchronization Method for Parallel Converters Sharing AC Bus and DC Bus (CICED 2024)
In order to solve the carrier asynchronous of parallel converters, this paper designs a fiber-optic carrier synchronization circuit and a carrier synchronization algorithm. The optical fiber signal transmiting and receiving circuit are designed on the converter main control board. The carrier synchronization algorithm of multiple parallel converters employs one master, one backup and multiple slaves. When the master is normal, it sends a synchronization signal and the backup and the slaves receive the carrier synchronization signal to synchronize with it. When the backup detects the failure of the master, the backup sends a synchronization signal, and the master and the slaves receive the synchronization signal to achieve the synchronization of all parallel converter carriers. The experimental results show the feasibility and validity of the fiber-optic carrier synchronization circuit and the carrier synchronization algorithm.
