Hierarchical Switch Placement Method for Distribution Network with Distributed Generation considering Power Supply Reliability
The relay protection switch can isolate faults, which is of significance to improve the reliability of distribution network. The three-level relay protection switch can improve the flexibility of fault handling. However, traditional hierarchical switch placement method is no longer applicable in the context of large-scale grid-connection of renewable energy. In order to explore the standardized placement method of hierarchical switches and cope with the impact of many distributed generations, based on the goal of improving the power supply reliability, a switch placement optimization method is proposed. Firstly, the optimization process of switch placement is proposed. Then, a switch placement optimization model considering power supply reliability is proposed. Finally, a system simulation is established based on the modified distribution network of an urban area, it is verified that the proposed method can improve the integrated fault handling capability of the distribution network.
