2024 VGTC Visualization Lifetime Achievement Award
The 2024 VGTC Visualization Lifetime Achievement Award goes to Hans-Christian Hege for his fundamental technical contributions to visualization and visualization software with a focus on applications in the natural sciences, medicine and engineering. The 2024 VGTC Visualization Lifetime Achievement Award goes to Min Chen for his contributions to the theoretical foundations of visualization as well as outstanding work on novel and impactful applications. Min Chen started his journey of research in 1984 at Swansea University where he developed his academic career. Since 2011, he has been professor of scientific visualization in the Department of Engineering Science and a fellow of Pembroke College, University of Oxford.
