A Correction Method for Active Distribution Network Loss Calculation Considering the Spatiotemporal Distribution Characteristics of Loads

The traditional loss calculation method of distribution network is usually based on time section or average power flow analysis, which fails to fully consider the dynamic spatiotemporal change of load and the influence of distributed power access, thus restricting its calculation accuracy. The increasingly perfect load side monitoring method provides data support for improving the theoretical loss calculation accuracy of distribution network. By combining the shape coefficient of the load curve and the improved electrical distance based on the complex efficiency of power transmission, a modified coefficient of the traditional theoretical loss calculation model based on the power flow calculation is constructed in this paper. The marginal network loss coefficient is introduced to characterize the difference of influence of load unit power change on the loss of distribution network before and after the access of distributed power, and the theoretical loss calculation correction coefficient including distributed power is improved. The correction method can effectively improve the accuracy of theoretical calculation results of distribution network loss. The effectiveness of this method is proved by comparing the result of case analysis.
