Multi-time Scale Voltage/Var Control Strategy for Distribution Network Considering Resource Volatility Differences

To mitigate the challenges posed by increased power loss and voltage fluctuation due to high-penetration photovoltaic integration, this paper introduces a Multi-Time Scale V oltageN ar Control framework for distribution networks. It integrates overall planning and scheduling of the distribution network on the day-ahead scale with real-time monitoring and adjustment of grid-connected points on the intra-day scale. On the day-ahead scale, a V oltageN ar Control model is formulated, aiming to minimize network loss and voltage deviation while considering constraints related to equipment and the distribution characteristics of uncertain variables. On the intra-day scale, a quantitative relationship between inverter adjustable power and target voltage is established, and a voltage autonomy model, relying solely on local real-time information, is developed. Simulation analysis using the modified IEEE 33 system validates the efficacy of the proposed voltage/var control strategy.
