Distributed Service Restoration Strategy for Interconnected Distribution Networks with Generalized Benders Decomposition Algorithm
The main transformer fault may cause large-scale power outages of distribution networks (DNs) and bring tremendous impact on the social and economic development. Fully exploiting the potential of areas interconnection and grid flexibility in DNs could improve the resilience of power grid as well as the reliability of power supply. In this context, this paper proposes a distributed service restoration strategy for interconnected DNs with the generalized Benders decomposition algorithm. Firstly, the power restoration optimization models of power outage DN and normal DNs are established with the objectives of maximum load restoration and minimum network losses, respectively. Secondly, with the principle of generalized Benders decomposition method, the global optimization model is decomposed into the main problem of power outage DN and the sub-problems of normal DNs, which are calculated alternately. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed distributed service restoration strategy are simulated and verified using a real interconnected DNs case in China.
