Theoretical and methodological features of physical fitness of combat sambo wrestlers

This article deals with issues aimed at developing the improvement of physical qualities in young sambo wrestlers. It is based on the solution of the issue for young athletes who, according to their physical indicators, have not yet reached the level of the programme requirements for the transition to the next stages of training. The goal and task was to develop a programme that would allow children to achieve the necessary results and, accordingly, try to catch up with their comrades, thereby creating a motivational component, namely love for combat sambo and understanding of the complexity of this sport. It is necessary to achieve awareness of motor tasks, movement structure and expected results, create positive emotions, use means of eliminating the feeling of fear, and arouse the desire for competition. A sambo wrestler achieves high functional parameters due to physical training, which simultaneously increases the level of motor capabilities, which, in turn, create the basis for performance in competitions. During training sessions at the initial and basic stages, general physical training is taken as a basis, with special physical training being connected to it, which leads to an increase in performance due to a high level of functional indicators. General and special physical training are two degrees of the same phenomenon. They should be understood in an inseparable unity, and this unity should be implemented in practice. Therefore, it is wrong to talk about the methodology of general and special physical training separately. To conduct the pedagogical experiment, the test tasks recommended in the programme for CYSS were used, the experiment was conducted on the basis of combat sambo of Ukraine, 15 young samboists took part in the experiment. Normative requirements for general and special physical fitness for combat sambo departments in children's and youth sports schools at the stage of basic training in the 2-3 year of training for boys.
