Effectiveness of Educational Interventional Bundle on Attitude Regarding Identification High Risk Pregnancy Among Nursing Officer at Selected Hospitals at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
Introduction:The identification and management of high-risk pregnancies are crucial for improving maternal and fetal outcomes.Nursing officers play a vital role in this process, and their attitudes toward high-risk pregnancy can significantly impact care quality. This study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of an educational intervention bundle designed to enhance nursing officers' attitudes toward the identification of highrisk pregnancies at selected hospitals in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.By evaluating the impact of this intervention, the study aims to contribute to strategies that improve the early detection and management of high-risk pregnancies.Materials & Methods: An experimental evaluative approach will be used to conduct the study. The study will employ a pre-test post-test research design that's comes under experimental study. The population for this study includes all nursing officers working in hospitals in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The sample size for the study will consist of 30 nursing officers from the selected hospitals in Lucknow with convenience sampling technique.Result: The findings revealed significant improvements in nursing officers' attitudes following the educational intervention.Table 8 shows a mean increase of 9.29 points in attitude scores, representing a 15.5% improvement, confirmed by a paired t-value of 15.31 and a p-value less than 0.001.This indicates the educational intervention's success in positively altering attitudes toward high-risk pregnancy. In contrast, Table 9 examines the relationship between pre-test attitude scores and sociodemographic variables. While most variables, such as age, gender, and income, showed no significant association with attitude scores, notable exceptions were 'religion' (Chi-square = 8.095, p < 0.05) and 'occupation' (Chi-square = 11.095,p < 0.05).These findings suggest that religious background and occupational status significantly influence nursing officers' attitudes, indicating the importance of considering these factors in future training and educational programs. Conclusions:The study concluded that the educational intervention was significantly effective in enhancing nursing officers' attitudes toward identifying high-risk pregnancies.Additionally, there was a significant association between pre-test attitude scores and selected sociodemographic variables, highlighting the influence of religion and occupation on attitudes. These results underscore the importance of targeted educational interventions and the need to consider demographic factors when designing training programs for nursing staff.
