The author emphasizes the importance of further improvement of the legal framework to ensure effective protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens, increase the transparency of the police and strengthen its interaction with the public. The conclusions emphasize the need for a comprehensive approach to reforming the law enforcement system of Ukraine, taking into account European experience, but with mandatory consideration of national characteristics and current challenges facing the country.
