Semantic features of polysemous verbs with enantiosemic meanings in the Khakass language

The purpose of the study is to identify in the lexical system of the modern Khakass language the linguistic category of enantiosemy as one of the types of semantic development of meanings in the structure of the same lexeme. Using the example of multivalued verbal vocabulary, the article shows the frequency of use and formation of opposite intraverbal meanings. The main corpus of various verbal combinations and constructions extracted from lexicographic sources, fiction, folklore, as well as the author's field material is revealed. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that it represents the first description of the verbal enantiosemy for Khakass and other Turkic languages of Siberia. The work for the first time establishes polysemantic verbs with enantiosemic meanings; the main ways of forming enantiosemic meanings in the structure of a polysemantic verb; semantic types of confronted oppositions; the connection of combinable possibilities of the verb with certain subjects and objects of action in the formation of opposite meanings within one lexeme. The results showed that in the Khakass language, lexical enantiosemy manifests itself as a result of heterogeneous factors that give rise to the formation of an intraverbial antonymy.
