Shadow areas in Algeria: development reality and future requirements
Algeria has witnessed significant changes and significant economic growth in the post-independence period and during the oil boom of the 1970s. After the 20219 elections, a new policy of redistributing social justice was embodied by the state, implementing huge public investments in the country's deprived areas, with a focus on the education and health sectors. As a result, access to basic services has improved. In this paper, the authors will explore the reality of development in the deprived and poor areas in Algeria, which are called shadow areas, from a social, health and educational perspective because policies that do not adopt a deeper and more established understanding of the backwardness of shadow areas may only treat the symptoms. In the absence of a perspective that focuses on the population or citizens. In the context of this research aims to promote the development of poor areas by explaining this phenomenon and providing solutions to combat it.
