The social crisis in Cuba and the prospects for overcoming it

The article examines the dynamics of social indicators in Cuba and assesses the efficiency of state policy aimed at improving living standards. Based on the results of the analysis, the author comes to a conclusion that there is a systemic social crisis in the country and assumes that the optimal strategy for overcoming it is fiscal discipline reinforcement.
