USO DO POLIURETANO COMO ALTERNATIVA PARA CONFORTO ACÚSTICO NO MEIO URBANO
In large urban centers, excessive noise has become a major challenge and has been a relevant factor in noise pollution, causing many impacts on people's health and well-being. The factors that contribute to this phenomenon are diverse, from industrial and commercial activities to vehicle traffic, events and music festivals, among others. In this context, polyurethane presents itself as a technological and efficient material in noise control and acoustic comfort, and is even the subject of research and optimization due to its results and advantages. The present work aims to compile information obtained through bibliographical research that presents the properties and capabilities of polyurethane and its performance in isolating and absorbing excess noise.
