Articles and online magazines in Portuguese were considered and the priority was the database. Subsequently, we carried out a reading analysis of the selected articles, considering the common and divergent points in the approaches of the authors consulted. Based on the existing bibliography, it was possible to conclude that both global and Brazilian dairy productivity and that of the Triângulo Mineiro / Alto Paranaíba mesoregion have been evolving over the years, due to the adoption of technologies by the sector. Between 2014 and 2023 there was an increase of 0.36% in national production, in the last 9 years the number of cows milked has decreased and national productivity has increased by around 70%, elucidating the period of momentum of new technologies that livestock farming of milk has been experiencing.
