Optimized Interleaved Pulse Width Modulator for Dual Two-Level Three-Phase Voltage Source Inverters Using Fully Connected Neural Network
With the introduction of wide-bandgap power semi-conductors, higher switching frequencies can be realized in power converters. While this leads to significant downsizing in required capacitance and inductance in passive components, the current carrying capability requirements remain unchanged. In order to reduce the current ripple in the DC link capacitor of two two-level three-phase inverters, a numeric optimization scheme is presented. As such a scheme is challenging to implement in real-time applications, a solution based on a fully connected neural network is introduced and its performance is discussed.
