Common Mode Current Modeling and Investigation in Different Grounding Systems for Frequency Range 0 -150 kHz
Due to the development of high-frequency switching devices, electromagnetic interference (EMI) issues in the frequency range up to 150 kHz have become increasingly significant. This paper presents a novel laboratory setup and a three-phase simulation model designed to investigate common-mode (CM) currents in TN, TT, and IT grounding systems, spanning from the fundamental frequency up to 150 kHz. The simulation results are validated through experimental measurements. Moreover, based on the model, the propagation pathes of CM currents in these three grounding systems are investigated.
