A DCM Interleaved Flyback Micro-Inverter with New Auxiliary Active Clamp Branch Design for Zero-Voltage Switching Effect
Based on conventional interleaved flyback micro-inverter in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM), a novel auxiliary active clamp circuit is proposed. This converter utilizes an auxiliary branch to recover the stored energy in the leakage inductance of the flyback transformer, achieving zero-voltage switching (ZVS) for the main flyback switches. The configuration consists of fewer components and effectively reduces the cost. In order to enhance the efficiency under all load conditions, a dual-converter multi-mode adaptive operation method is adopted. The simulation results verify the feasibility of the active clamp control and phase control method.
