Stability Analysis of DC-Coupled Converters with Impedance Spectroscopy
Stability in DC systems is a highly relevant and current concern across various industries, including Aerospace, Marine, Smart Grid, and Automotive. This paper introduces the application of impedance spectroscopy for understanding and optimizing the behavior of converters. Utilizing impedance spectroscopy allows for a comprehensive qualification of converters at all operating points and under diverse parameter variations. The impedance plots serve as a foundation for identifying stable operating ranges in interconnected converters. The described methodologies contribute to the reduction of testing times and test bench requirements, ensuring a secure and reliable operation of the systems in the field.
