Joint Application of Signals With Controlled ISI and Iterative Decision-Feedback Detection Algorithm in DVB-S2

the paper considers the application of signals with controlled ISI in the DVB-S2 standard. An iterative processing algorithm with decisions feedback used together with the error-correcting coding defined in the standard. The possibility of increase in transmission rate shown with permissibly small losses in energy efficiency. In addition, for some parameters of the symbol transmission rate and code rate, it is possible to achieve an increase in energy efficiency with a fixed bandwidth efficiency. The results given for two extreme cases of possible signal constellations defined by the standard - QPSK and 32APSK.

Abstract

the paper considers the application of signals with controlled ISI in the DVB-S2 standard.
