Inductive Power Decoupling Integrated Charging System for Electric Vehicles based on a Switched Reluctance Motor
An integrated charging topology is proposed for electric vehicles based on Switched Reluctance Motors. In the charging mode, windings and part of the motor power converter are reused as a dual-diode bridgeless Boost PFC rectifier, and the remaining one phase and its bridge arm are reused as an inductive power decoupling circuit to absorb the power ripple of the bus and reduce the output voltage ripple.
