Modeling the Thermomechanical Behavior of a Bimorph Microcantilever Near Solid-Liquid Phase Transition
Infrared technology plays a pivotal role in numerous applications that permeate our daily lives, including motion sensors, fire detection systems, ear thermometers, and thermal imaging devices. The operational temperature range is a critical parameter for thermal detectors, particularly those deployed in elevated temperature environments. This paper investigates the variation in thermal properties of one of the two materials used in these detectors within a specified temperature range. The study presents a calculation of the resulting displacement amplitude due to changes in thermal properties and proposes a corresponding equivalent electrical circuit to model the system.
