Abstract

Modelling and non-destructive diagnostics of residual stresses in cylindrical athermal neodymium active elements (AEs) of lasers are carried out: GLS 1715, hardened by low-temperature ion exchange Na+ (glass) ⟺ K+ (melt) and aluminosilicophosphate GLS 817, hardened by low-temperature ion exchange Na+, K+ (glass) ⟺ Cs+ (melt). We also carried out a reconstruction of the radial distributions of axial stresses in AEs.
