Measurements and Computation to Obtain the Phase-Frequency Characteristics from Ferroresonant Circuit Data

The paper deals with problem of analyzing phase-frequency characteristics obtained from measured data in ferroresonant circuit. Experimental data is obtained and Fourier analysis conducted to obtain phase diagrams. The drawbacks of discrete noisy data sampled at high rates is addressed by specific resampling techniques to obtain informative Fourier phase-frequency for desired type (harmonic or sub-harmonic) of steady state analysis of ferroresonant circuit.

Abstract

The paper deals with problem of analyzing phase-frequency characteristics obtained from measured data in ferroresonant circuit. Experimental data is obtained and Fourier analysis conducted to obtain phase diagrams. The drawbacks of discrete noisy data sampled at high rates is addressed by specific resampling techniques to obtain informative Fourier phase-frequency for desired type (harmonic or sub-harmonic) of steady state analysis of ferroresonant circuit.
