139 mySkin: a co-designed self-report longitudinal cohort study to understand environmental determinants of psoriasis onset and progression
Psoriasis is a common disease of complex aetiology. Genetic studies have identified >100 susceptibility loci but there is limited research on the role of environmental factors on disease onset and progression. To address this, the mySkin longitudinal cohort study was co-designed with clinicians, scientists, patients and patient organisations (e.g. Psoriasis Association). An online self- report platform (mySkin.org, launched 06/2023) was disseminated via communication channels of patient organisations, social media (@mySkinstudy), podcasts and patient/public events.
