This article aims to present the guarantees of children and adolescents who are victims of violence and their special testimony. To prepare the research, the literature review methodology was used, as well as works by renowned authors in the legal field, published scientific articles, newspapers. uring the research, the results were satisfactory, as it was clear that children and even teenagers, when they are victims and witnesses, end up suffering more, due to the lack of support that often comes from their own family, who end up judging them and In some cases, these victims remain inert for fear of how they will be treated. During the research we can conclude that although Law No. 13,431, of April 4, 2017, establishes the system of guaranteeing the rights of children and adolescents who are victims or witnesses of violence, guarantees the rights of children and adolescents, even so, there is still the risk of not having this guarantee due to lack of information on public policies in general.
